AGBI MARY ITOHAN’S LOVE FOR MODELLING IS…..
There’s nothing in life that can’t be achieved when there’s a desire for it. Desires supersede luck in any industry including in modelling. I have come in contact with several stories of models doing great things on runway, TV or in other specialize fields; the major thing that pop up from their various stories is the that fact they are all so madly in love with the modeling business; just like Agbi Mary Itohan is crazy in love with this profession. This native of Edo State who is standing at 5feet 8inches, with bust – 35, waist – 26 and hips – 36 is aiming to create her on record in the industry. Who are you to doubt her?
“As a kid, I fell in love with modelling despite the fact that I had no support from my parent. They never liked the idea and advice against it but I still decided to follow the path until I found my way. After my secondary school at St. Augustine College, I was asked to go to Benin to do a program (jupeb) at Uniben, and so I decided to take my love for modelling along. Luckily for me, it was not hard finding an agency because I had a cousin who was already in the business as the CEO of HI model management. So I got signed up.
Things were rough but we moved through that with a positive mind set, we defeated all the negative thoughts that came along with the business. I also never forget what my mama use to say, “People will say bad things but don’t let it get to you because if those words can’t pay your pay your bills, then it doesn’t add up’. Folks that don’t understand modeling can’t distract me with their wrong perception of the business. My eyes on the goals, my legs on the runway until money fill my bank accounts. I knew from the get go that things will be tough but faith and hard work will see me through. “If I fall, if I fly or if I break my legs, at least I gave it all my all on the way to success”- Agbi Mary Itohan
