The Nigerian music industry continue to grow by leaps and bounds, all credit to the puppet masters pulling the strings for several young talents to be discovered, and established artists to receive awards of commendations for the efforts they put in year in year out.

Although Lagos is the mecca for the music industry but truth most be told of the fact that so many artists drifted there after they have been discovered in their local regions. In the south-south zone in Nigeria, one of the most respected entrepreneur pulling the strings in that entertainment industry, uncovering and applauding talents with honors is Andy Bello.

Prior to the conceptualization of the South-South Music Awards (SSMA) over a decade ago, Andy has used his several entertainment platforms on television and in management to unearth and give credence to arguably most of the top music talents that emerged from the entertainment obit from this district.

As we prepare for the #pre-party of the 10^th anniversary of the SSMA tonight 17^th of November, in anticipation for the main award night on the 2^nd December 2018, looking at the list of talents like Johny Drille, Orezi, Harrysong, Tony Ross, Kaha , Madrina (Cynthia Morgan) to name but a few, soonest, it wont be out of Character for any reputable entertainment outfit to award Andy for his sheer unrelenting contribution to the growth of the Nigerian music industry.
