Sentenced to life in prison at the age of 16 for killing the man that bought her for sex, Cyntoia Brown is now released from prison on Wednesday, August 7^th after several pressures from top celebrities like Kim Kardashian fought for her release.

Her case received national attention and celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and T.I. took up her cause.

Brown was released from the Tennessee Prison for Women after Former Governor Bill Haslam commuted her sentenced earlier this year.
