It is sheer foolhardy exercise to try to attempt an appropriate description of the man, a waste of time trying to conjure the right words to capture the essence of the seemingly effortless domination of his space as a mortal. A veteran broadcaster and a seasoned entertainment impresario, Olisa has run the whole gamut of both the broadcast and entertainment sectors, successfully blurred the lines in between, gone over it again and again and now he is set to ascend like an angel to a place reserved only for special ones like him. His achievements are as solid as concrete and reads like a full book. You do yourself a favour not to attempt to capture it all at a time. A legend may not be too expensive to describe his accomplishments in a relatively short time but then he flaunts a lifetime achievement bounty to show for it. From the back streets of cutting edge entertainment to the corridors of corporate patronage, Olisa has been there and done that. He has at one time or the other in the line of duty helped one career or the other and provided invaluable marketing solutions to various corporate concerns.

He is one of the most respected and in demand radio and television executive producer and presenter on the African continent. Olisa is not only one of the biggest personalities but has also been at the cutting edge of African electronic media and entertainment since 1988 with more than 23 years experience in television, radio, film and live events. His electronic media career started with the Nigerian Television Authority as an independent presenter. Producer and director on popular magazine/light entertainment programmes such as ”Top of the Pops”and ”Super Sounds”. He then went on to present, produce and direct four different weekly programmes like Clapperboard Rap Show and Soul with Sprite for Nigeria’s first independent private television station Clapperboard Television. Olisa has had a long and fruitful association with corporate Nigeria both as a spokesperson and on various platforms such as television, radio and live events.

Olisa has hosted the MTN Nigeria’s Y’ello Television and radio shows, made numerous appearances as a host or as part of media campaigns for events including Project Fame Africa, Sean Paul Tour, Wyclef Jean Tour, Star Mega Jam, Face of Africa, St. Moritz Style Awards, This Day Fashion Show and other music events too numerous to mention. He also played an important role on the historic launch of MTV Base Africa, Nigeria Television Authority’s Charity Television in aid of Ikeja cantonment bomb victims as well other high profile corporate events in Nigeria and indeed Africa for big corporate concerns like Nigeria Breweries, Guinness, Motorola, Starcomms, Virgin Nigeria, Coca Cola. Nokia, British Airways among others. He was the host and executive producer of the music reality show, Naija Sings.

From 1998 – 2008, Olisa hosted the number one afternoon drive time show on radio on 96.9 Cool FM until he moved in 2009 to launch what is regarded as arguably the no 1 radio station in Nigeria, THE BEAT 99.9 FM, as the morning flagship drive time host and programmes director. A role model, he also performs for a pidgin English radio station, Naija FM 102.7. As a co-founder and executive director of Storms Records 360, Olisa is a part of a formidable team that is steering the course in the Nigeria media and entertainment industry. Olisa Adibua’s good standing within the industry. His newest baby The Truth, an online celebrity interviews is current hot on demand. His vast experience and diverse talent have made him a brand name recognised not only in Nigeria but across the African continent and amongst Nigerians in Diaspora.
