With the ongoing multiple court cases and charges, it’s hard to see R Kelly gain any meaningful freedom soon. As part of his recent conundrum, officials of the homeland security on federal sex trafficking charges have just taken him into federal custody.

The charged are contained in a 13-count indictment that was filed in the Northern District of Illinois. The indictment includes charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice.

As we reported, officials had been investigating how Kelly and his associates allegedly bought plane tickets for underage girls and moved them around the country while he was performing.
