If you are a die-hard follower of the Nigerian Hip-hop history, it will be hard not to have come in contact with the rapper named Phenom; the one time poster child of Knighthouse records. Aside the hype, if you have chronicled record labels in Nigeria with signees that knows their onions, then you will know about Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire MusiQ (KKTBM), the record label rapper Yung6ix was once signed on. Phenom moved on from Knighthouse, KKTBM also let go Yung6ix.

On the 16th of January 2018, Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire MusiQ (KKTBM) held a press brief to announce change in name to ‘Trick Billionaire MusiQ’ and also use the occasion to present Rapper Phenom as their new signee. This change and re-branding come weeks after parting ways with Yung6ix.

Led by Prince Usinefe, Trick Billionaire MusiQ (TBM) has now officially
announced and unveiled Topa Onimowo aka Phenom as its latest signee after weeks of media speculations. Phenom, a young Nigerian Hip-Hop artist who was born to a Banker father and
a Police Officer mother but fell in love with rap music when he was 12
years old now joins the other acts in the label that include Percy, LK
Kuddy, She Officiall, B Raiz and Sean Dennis.

In the words of Ibrahim Kabiru, the General Manager of Trick Billionaire
MusiQ (TBM), ‘over time we believe our label has done well to carve a niche
of excellence, quality and professionalism in the industry and it is only
right for us to continue our expansion plans to develop and showcase the
best talents the country has to offer, help nurture their talents and make
them global superstars’
