Salute Chidinma – The queen of HitFM Calabar

She’s one of the OAPs in this country that I love her tenacity. She’s so good at what she does; she could cut it at the top media/communication companies in the world.  Chidinma “Ima” Udeh is an all round radio personality, a writer, a public relations enthusiast, an art lover and a die-hard addict of good music.

Born on March 13th in Lagos, Nigeria and a graduate of Mass
Communications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ima is known to all as #thatradiochild and is currently the host of “The Late Mornings With Ima” every weekdays from 10am to 12 noon on Cross River State’s first urban contemporary radio station; Hit 95.9 FM Calabar.

Her show offers the best of both worlds in infotainment and
music…From feel good music on #MondayMoods to #TwoplayTuesday
play-list on
#TuesdaysTreats to strictly African music selections on
#AfrocentricWednesdays then #BestOfSongCovers focus on
#TerrificThursdays and finally heating up for the weekend with the best upbeat music on #FridayFunDay, Ima definitely locks down the Late
Mornings belt.

Music is her major drive and she encourages all styles of unpopular good music especially the ‘underrated’ alternative music genre… In her own words, “If you ain’t talking good music, you are talking
nonsense..”
