Like in boxing, pound for pound, Sheye will rival every known hype man on stage. He has that much energy to burn. Sheye is like the Neymar in football. Although he does not share the same funny antics, his skills are undeniable.

As a hype man, Sheye is new in the business but delivers on stage like someone with decades of experience. “My hype man career started as a hobby until I eventually realized that I could make money from it. During my National Youth Service Corps year, I had the opportunity at some of the events in camp to stand in as the hype man. An event organizer noticed I did a good job. He told me I could make a career from it. That was where my professional career as a hype man started” – Sheye

As the resident hype man for Basement Gig, Sheye also doubles as a performing artist. He has a new song out titled “Vybe & Riddim”. He’s also one of the leading OAPs at Soundcity Radio 98.5FM. As a hype man, Sheye has a commendable list on his résumé.
