In a new report in The New York Times Magazine, the blaze that occurred at the Universal Studios in California in 2008 consumes the masters of the works from Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Tupac, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg and Loouis Amstrong were among the many lost to the fire. It was a major loss to Universal Music Group.
