Ada Lawrence is one of the unique breeds of gospel ministers in Nigeria. Her Rock Gospel Music is refreshingly golden. Listening to her songs like the track “Celebrate”, she has trappings of sounds reminiscent of the hip-hop group Rooftop MCs, Eben, and iconic veteran Nigerian rockstar Age Beeka.

Like reggae, any form of rock music is evergreen. Ada Lawrence added contemporary gospel vocals on heavy metal guitar strings and drums to produce delightful good music. Christened Adaobi Onyinye Ifebigh, she goes by the stage name Evangelist Ada Lawrence. Ada is a native of Anambra state- an alumna of Imo State University with a BSc in Sociology/Anthropology. She also has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University Of Benin.

Her journey into gospel music began in 2012. She classifies herself as an international/hard-rock evangelist. According to her, “I have released a 12-track album titled ‘Jesus My Rock’, and I also have two videos to my name for the song ‘Celebrate and External Life’. Soon, I will embark on a two states tour to Kogi and Abia state. I am a member of Believers Love-world Nation. And I have set my music on a rock-steady foundation to spread the gospel to all nations.
