As we await the month of August for the official release of these new sets of collection, I’m of the opinion that #errbody will agree with me that when it comes to Adidas, they hardly get it wrong. Anime heads and ’90s babies are all geared up to celebrate 30 years since Dragon Ball Z launched back in 1989, and the new collection by adidas is one of the standout anniversary collaborations so far.

The collection launches with a banger, commemorating one of the series’ greatest showdowns with the “Son Goku vs. Frieza” pack. Much like the two characters at hand, both colorways couldn’t be more different. The adidas ZX500 RM stands in for Goku, while the adidas Yung-1 reps Frieza for those that root for the bad guy. Both utilize co-branding from adidas and the Dragon Ball Z franchise on the insole, and will of course come in special packaging to make this one to remember.
