Incredible how a huge number of persons especially Media Personalities fight to be featured on the amazing Mystreetz Magazine and I have been extremely lucky now to get a feature not once but twice in less than 6months apart.
My name is Augustus Aigbe (Gucci the Radio Rockstar) and this is my cool story.
As early as August 2018, I got the rare opportunity to be plastered all over the most popular lifestyle and entertainment Magazine right now in Nigeria. I jumped at the chance; I was back then a media personality with Benin City’s Biggest Radio station KUFM Nigeria. Fast-forward 21 weeks after and I have gone on a new adventure and started a new phase of my broadcasting Journey. Precisely Nov 2nd 2018 I resigned from KUFM officially after having accepted a very lucrative offer from the AIM Group Broadcasting Branch (Cool FM).
On the 6th of November I arrived the AIM Headquarters in VI Lagos after my transportation and Accommodation had been taken care of by the company. I underwent a 3-week intense training after which I was then deployed to the Port Harcourt Branch of Cool Fm. The Broadcasting business apparently is a thriving industry but more so an industry with a dying breed of good journalist or professionals but with Cool FM the same can not be said as the company is quite through with hiring and also judicious in firing should any staff fall short. It has been a tedious but fun learning period at Cool FM. I am barely 2weeks with my new Media family but it feels like we have all known forever. The synergy is unique and the quality is undoubtedly abundant.
I have only just scratched the surface with this fountain of knowledge before me.
