After her foray as a contestant in the 2006 ‘Next Movie Star’ reality TV show, she made inroads into the Nigerian music sector as a lead video girl for artists like Durella and Sunny Nneji. Graduate of Law from the University Of Benin, as an actress, she had roles in movies like Magic Moments, Christmas Passion and Making Of The King among others.

As a performing artist, with production credit from the late veteran music producer ‘OJB’ who delivered 2Baba’s ‘African Queen’, Barbara Okojie Known with the stage name Barbara had the song ‘Dangerous ( 2007), with the video directed by Clarence Peters. She also had songs like ‘Ojo Tilo’ and ‘Iwo Ni Kan’. Although not the textbook vocalist but her attempts in the music industry will forever me remembered.
