Greatness is when one of the most coveted singer hires the most soulful British singer to sing for him on his birthday? That’s magic. On Monday (Oct. 8), Bruno Mars celebrated his 33rd birthday by posting a video with Ed Sheeran singing “Happy Birthday.”

The “Finesse” singer is currently on his 24k Magic World Tour that’s set to conclude in December. However, Mars was able to make time for his birthday while backstage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville before taking the stage.

In a clip posted to social media, Ed Sheeran is seen strumming the guitar and singing while Mars enjoys an assortment of birthday cupcakes. The caption reads: “You know you’ve made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday #ExtraForever! #HappyBrunoMarsDay!”
