Cardi B and Ciara Performances At 2018 American Music Awards and More
Although The American Music Awards can’t lay claim to being music’s biggest night, but the talent it attracts guarantees that it’s still a rather large one. The night’s festivities featured performances from Missy Elliott and Ciara; Post Malone and Ty Dolla Sign; and Cardi B, J Balvin, and Bad Bunny, who performed their chart-topper “I Like That.”
The performance lineup also included an Aretha Franklin tribute that featured Gladys Knight, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, and Ledisi. Taylor Swift opened the show with Reputation‘s “I Did Something Bad” and went on to win four AMA trophies, making her the record holder for AMA wins (23) by a female artist.
