Chris Rock To Star in Season 4 of ‘Fargo’
The more black folks get roles in Hollywood, the less will be hear the sentence ‘The Oscar is white’. Chris Rock will put the comedy aside as he will star as a crime boss in the forthcoming season of the Emmy award-winning show Fargo. Season 4 will bring Rock and the cast to Kansas City, Missouri in the year 1950, Deadline reports.
Season 4 of the show will go into production in Fall of 2019 and will tell the story of Italians relocating from Italy and African-Americans relocating from the south in efforts to escape Jim Crow Laws. Both sides will be looking to grow within the American dream as opposing sides in crime families.
The character that Rock will portray will surrender his son to the enemy in exchange to raise the enemy of his own son. The head of the mafia in Kansas City dies and the entire town turns upside down.
Rock’s venture to Fargo will be a return for the comedian and actor to FX who said, “I’m a fan of Fargo and I can’t wait to work with Noah.”
