‘DAYYO’ Debuts With The EP “Nuts & Caramel”

The artist known as DAYYO is vying to stake a claim to winning laurels and fans in the Nigerian music industry by releasing his debut five-track EP called “Nuts & Caramel“. Over the years, he has spent time-consuming the music of his iconic heroes like Fela, 2Face, and Wande Coal that has helped in concocting his sound – a mashed up of Afro-pop and Afro-trap. a testament to his uniqueness is audible in his Nuts & Caramel EP.

Christened Otaru Dayo Konrad, he’s a native of Edo State but grew up in Lagos. He once goes by the stage name LUCIID before changing it to DAYYO. Just as his moniker changed for good, the same was with his music.

This five-track EP contains songs like “Many“, “Kitkat”, “Sare“, “Thot”, and “Bate”. The release of the track “Many” came in handy with a music video that premiered on June 4, 2021. His most recent video is for the song “Sare”, released on September 6, 2021.
