D’banj has been arrested for the alleged diversion of N-Power funds worth about 100 million Naira. Although this news circulating social media is unconfirmed, The Independent Corrupt Practices And Other Related Offenses Commission was said to have arrested the singer on Tuesday.

According to the report, D’banj is accused of fraudulently diverting hundreds of million Naira earmarked by the Nigerian government for the N-Power project, an empowerment program set up in 2016 to address youth unemployment and increase social development.
