When Dream Empire Music officially unveiled its operational strategy in Nigerian with a classy press conference/listening party, it was crystal clear that all their signees (artists) that include Verchi, Majeeed, and Lisa Viola, all mean business. Watching the live performance by the trio for their song “Ogaju” produced by Mr Kleb, the label’s signed in-house beatmaker was spellbinding.

Also, listening to the just-released single by Lisa Viola featuring Majeeed titled “Lagos” produced by Duktor Sett, one could conclude that the record label and their artists are here for the wins.

According to Lisa Viola, “I chose to come to Nigeria because, in Australia, I was the only artist known for championing Afrobeats. Whenever a Nigerian artist comes, I would be the opening act or help with promotions or dancers. I was always a part of the Nigerian music community. And frankly speaking, as of today, the hottest tunes are coming out of Nigeria. I decided to be in Nigeria because this is where I want to be.” She concluded.

Her colleague Majeeed stated that he’s a versatile artist. “I do not have a specific genre of music. I like to explore. I pick up very fast, and I don’t limit myself. I know Dream Empire Music understands my vision- and where I want to take my career.”

The stylish Verchi has worked with reputable names like Seyi Shay and Harrysong. As an Afrocentric RnB singer/songwriter, he knows his onions. Verchi is comfortable in his skin. According to the plan, he will release a debut EP called “Afro Diets”. When asked to describe his brand, he replied, “My voice is the first thing about me that is different from any other person. The way I write my music is different. I sing more about love and my experiences. I do not focus more on heartbreaks. What will make a difference for me is my sound.” He concluded. All things being equal, we can’t wait to hear all the music these artists will churn out in the coming months.
