According to BuzzAngle Music’s 2018 Year-End Report Eminem sold more albums than any other artist last year.

The year-end report provided a break down of the top album sales of 2018. Eminem happened to land at the No. 1 spot, pushing a whopping 755,027 units in album sales. He actually dominated the competition by a landslide, with BTS coming in second at 603,307 album sales.

Surprisingly, the usual suspects such as Taylor Swift and Drake didn’t even make the top 10 in album sales. They both tallied at 368,181 and 359,041, coming in at No. 15 and 16 respectively.

Eminem’s album stats can be attributed to his latest studio project, Kanikaze, which was also the fourth bestselling album of the year. The rest of the stats stems from streaming and his entire discography.
While Em may have washed his competitors in regards to album sales, Drake still managed to earn the top artist title in terms of total music consumption and streaming.
