Femi Oyelade, one of the quiet achievers in the Nigerian showbiz industry, continues to empower young talents and build brands. The extraordinary creative genius is the unassuming brand strategist for the Miss Africa Calabar, one of the most consistent beauty pageants by Africans for Africans. Since 2016, Femi, through his role as the brand and event consultant, has meticulously crafted the Miss Africa Calabar as one of the topmost beauty contests globally.

Femi’s engagement in the entertainment sector started in 2005 when alongside Mallam Yankee, he managed the Media and Club Tour for Dbanj. In 2006, through his company, Say It Loud, he organized his first show, the Abuja Summer Splash, at the NTA Arena, hosted by Matilda Duncan, headlined by D’banj, Age Beeka, Jeremiah Gyang, and MI, who wasn’t on the flyer also performed. A watershed moment – the first time D’banj and MI performed for a massive outdoor audience in Abuja. It was a momentous event.

Wearing the hat of a graphic designer, Femi created album covers for Dare Art Alade’s (Darey) ‘From Me 2 YOU’ and ‘UN.DAREY.TED’. He also did the cover art for Styl-Plus and a handful of artists. As a marketing consultant, he has worked for local and international organizations, including the Quintessential Business Women Association (QBWA). Prioritizing his skillfulness toward the grand finale of the 2022 Miss Africa Calabar on 27 December, at the CICC, Cross River State, by 6 pm, Femi is ready to add another significant achievement to his archives.
