HENRY KNIGHT IS ASKING ‘TEACH ME’!
‘I am experimenting with sounds right now. I just realized I could reach any limit and jump on any sound by putting my own flick on it. A creative artiste should be able to flow on different genres without losing focus’ – Henry Knight
It is a marvel these days how every song released by Henry Knight just hits the ground running. Just like the track ‘Desire,’ the new single titled ‘Teach Me’ is now fans’ favorite. The single is more like a love song being played on the dance floor. Produced by Original Beat, this is Henry’s second song since signing with Matt Westside Records. The video to this song is shot by the super creative MEX. The location for the video was in Ibadan.
It took six months between when he released the previous single ‘Desire’ and the debut of ‘Teach Me.’ According to Henry Knight, ‘The reason for the timeline is because within that window, I had to engage in some personal meditations to re-discover myself and my sound. It was a very productive period for me because I used that window recording several yet to be released songs. I was meditating and I worked with several music producers like Ekelly, GospelOnDeBeatz, Kriz Beatz, Popito to mention a few.
‘I decided to release ‘Teach Me’ produced by Original Beat as a proof of my evolving sound. I am experimenting with sounds right now. I just realized I could reach any limit and jump on any sound by putting my own flick on it. A creative artiste should be able to flow on different genres without losing focus and his own unique selling point. The acceptance to ‘Teach Me’ has been massive from the first listen’ – he concluded.
