Kevin Durant Was Hanging Out With Drake Days Before Testing Positive For Coronvirus
The news that NBA star Kevin Durant tested Positive to Covid-19 broke on Tuesday but what is now more worrying is the fact that he hung out with Drake a couple of days before, which implies the rapper might have contacted the virus.
With regards to Durant, he spoke with The Athletic after the news broke. Durant said he was feeling fine and doesn’t have any symptoms.
He said, “Everyone should be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.” The other three players have yet to be identified. Only one of the players is reported to be showing symptoms.
ESPN reports the only player showing symptoms “experienced aches when he woke up Tuesday.” The tests were done after the team came back from San Francisco last week. The team played the Warriors on March 12. The players were able to receive the highly coveted tests after the Nets paid a private company out of pocket.
On March 10, Durant was photographed hanging out with Drake in Los Angeles. The two were spotted leaving out a backdoor together with security.
The other NBA players who have tested positive include Utah Jazz stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell and the Pistons’ Christian Wood.
