Lady Gaga Finally Spoke about her Canceling Joint Tour With Kanye
While on a press tour to promote her upcoming movie A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga spoke about the cancellation of her 2009 joint tour with Kanye West tagged ‘Fame Kills’ which got the ax after Kanye (in)famously seized the mic from Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs to declare that Beyonce had “one of the best videos of all-time!”
Seven years later, in 2016, Kanye called the aforementioned tour cancellation “the beginning of the end of my life.”
While I don't agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and ❤️for @kanyewest and each other. One love. One Race.

After being asked about the abrupt end of the tour, Gaga made a broad appeal for sympathy for mental health issues for artists.
“Everybody has a threshold and everybody’s a human. And artists are human,” she said. “I think that this film [A Star is Born] also deals with mental health issues, substance abuse, addiction, [and] a lot of trauma as well (…) I think it’s important to take care of people and to look out for the mental health. I think there’s nothing wrong with it, if an artist needs to stop it’s them listening to their body and their mind.”
