As one of the band member for the legendary 2Baba, not only has she exhibits her perfection in the studio booth, in live stage performances but now with the release of her own songs like the latest ‘Maka Why’ featuring Njol. This lady is a true professional.
‘My full names are Victoria Bassey but known in the industry as Latoria Bassey. I’m from Akwa ibom state in Nigeria but born and raised in Lagos state. I also had all my education in Lagos. I started music officially in 2015 – I joined the legend himself – 2face Idibia’s band – #tekband; It’s been a wonderful journey.
In 2017 while with the band, I released my first single “Casanova”
produced by DON EL37 and “My Lover” by MESHE. Shortly after that, I took a break to work on my brand and re-strategize. In January 2019 I returned with the release of my newest single “Maka Why” produced by Spellz. The fans reaction was swift and impressive.
I currently have over 29k monthly listeners on SPOTIFY if not more and over 60k streams on it. I have also released the visuals for ‘Maka Why’ – available on YouTube with over 4k views and 600 subscribers. I have gathered so much from this experience as a performing artiste and I can’t wait to release some of the music I have already worked on” – Latoria Bassey
