In an incident that has surprise several people, a statue of Marilyn Monroe that sat atop a gezebo on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was stolen on Monday night.

The statue in question sat atop the Hollywood Gazebo, which celebrates women in film from different cultures. Dolores Del Rio, Dorothy Dandridge, Mae West, and Anna May Wong have statues around the gazebo, while Monroe sat on top.
