Michael Jordan Contributes $2 Million to Hurricane Florence Relief
Over the last couple of days, Hurricane Florence hit a large portion of the east coast causing massive damage, flooding, and leaving many residents without proper food and shelter. One of the cities that was hit the hardest by the natural disaster was Wilmington, North Carolina—Michael Jordan’s hometown. And now, according to the Charlotte Observer, Jordan has donated $2 million to aid in Hurricane Florence relief efforts.
“You gotta take care of home,” he told the Charlotte Observer. “You don’t want to see any of that anywhere, but when it’s home, that’s tough to swallow.”
