Mo’Fame – ‘The Radio Heart-throb’ On Rhythm 93.7FM Benin
If being in-depth about the entertainment industry coupled with delivering commentaries often guided by painstaking research is one of the many attributes associated with Mo’Fame’s radio broadcasting exploits thus far, then it’s inevitable to conclude that this lad’s performance is a sure-fire way of getting reckoned with as one of the most promising young OAPs climbing up the ladder in Benin City.

Mo’Fame is molded to perfection from the blueprint of Andy Bello – one of the most respected puppet masters pulling the strings in the entertainment and broadcasting industry in the South-south region of Nigeria. As the host of the 7 pm – 10 pm daily drive time show and the 7 pm Saturday’s #Rapkulture on Rhythm 93.7FM Benin City, Maxwell Omo–Osagie alias Mo’fame is arguably controlling a huge chunk of the urban radio aficionados in that state.
My journey into broadcasting is an unusual one. I started my career as a rapper. I dropped a song back in the day, over a decade ago to be precise. I wanted to shoot a video for it, so I met with Andy Bello. During one of our conversations, he looked at me and asked the question ‘would you consider a job in the media because you look and sound like one built for the industry. That was the day I started to understudy the broadcasting industry. I got my first gig as a TV presenter on Music Mix. From then I never looked back, still haven’t looked back.
