OKAL – Her Marathon “Cost A Thang’ Media Tour Is Inspiring
It was as late as past 9.30pm but Okal was still on the wait for the next thirty minutes before she could enter into a live radio studio at Rainbow 94.1FM for an interview scheduled as part of her ongoing #costathang media tour in Lagos. Like one that has bargained with life for a penny, this songstress have nothing to loss – she’s withstood several hurdles and will knock down walls of despondency so as to attain her goal of becoming a successful musician.

In a week that already saw her made a stop at Unilag 103.1FM, City 105.1FM, Max 102.3FM, Sahara TV, Biscon TV and Pop Central TV, like a train heading for la-la land, Okal is hyped up, super focus, and she leave no stone unturned promoting her debut single ‘ Cost A Thang’. This Royale Records signee is not known for someone that cherry-picks her stories; during most of her interviews, Okal continue to tell all the grueling details on her way to stardom.
“I remember that I once almost gave up when the video to my refix of Victor AD’s ‘Watin We Gain’ crashed with the directors editing system. I mean, not just the final edit but also the whole raw footage. It was a long way up for me from that horrible moment in my life. Nothing could have pulled me up from that melancholy except music. I love my music and the music rescued me. I’m not stopping anytime soon. Maybe never” – Okal
