In his first press conference after Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner in the just-concluded Nigeria presidential election, Labour Party candidate, Mr Peter Obi disputes the result and claimed he won the election and will prove it.

The Labour Party presidential candidate faulted Nigeria’s inability to conduct free and fair elections 63 years after independence, saying he will challenge “electoral rascality” in court.

“We will explore all legal and peaceful option to reclaim our mandate. We won the election and we will prove it to Nigerians,” Obi said at a press conference on Thursday in Abuja.
