Respect Humanity And Their Achievements: By Sesan Adeniji
With the coronavirus pandemic that led to the crumble of the world economy and the isolation of humans all over the world, if there’s one major lesson that was learned, it is the fact that health is wealth, and humanity is superior to technology. To all the doctors and nurses in the frontline fighting to keep us safe, God bless you.
One could argue that America – the world’s leading service economy has over the years spent billions of dollars upgrading the technology of its military might but was left culpable to the coronavirus outbreak cause it failed to give the same attention and watchfulness to the health system of their citizens. It’s about time the leader of the free world respect humanity, stop his divisiveness, appreciate all humans and their achievement no matter the color of their skin, and as well, value old alliance.
With the same perspective, in the Nigerian music industry, I wonder why the exploits of the artist Burna Boy, which includes his Grammy Awards nomination and his global expansion, has not continued to receive praise as one of a kind? The envy in the industry has blinded some from seeing through the fact that Burna has achieved what no new generation musician has ever accomplished. There’s a need for us to develop the courage to respect and appreciate humans for their accomplishments while they are alive. We shouldn’t wait till Burna is gone before we say he’s one of a kind. In this new edition, we advise everyone to watch Burna’s smoke – is he becoming legendary?
This edition also includes stories of several people in the entertainment and art industry who are doing great things. From Nadine of the Beat 99.9FM, Skiibii, Martyn, and Yung L to name but a few, we are celebrating achievements. Do enjoy reading.
