Super Mario Bros. Movie Premiere Saw Jack Black Dress Like His Character
The Super Mario Bros. Movie enjoyed its world premiere on April 1, and Black arrived on the scene in a specially designed suit for the occasion.
Jack Black fully adopted the spirit of Bowser during The Super Mario Bros. Moviw premiere. The gigantic spiked turtle is the antagonist of the project, as he captures Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and sets Mario (Chris Pratt) up for a long and dangerous journey. Black gladly signed up for the role of Bowser and has been hamming it up ever since.
The suit jacket’s back is lined with Bowser’s spikes, while the arms and legs are also decorated with little red and yellow flames. It evokes Bowser’s iconic look and shows off just how much effort Black is willing to devote to becoming Bowser.
