The Little Mermaid has just passed a huge milestone worldwide. By the end of Sunday, the movie will have surpassed a total of $500 million. However, as it approaches what is looking like a total run of around $525 million, the movie may not end up in the black considering its costly $250 million price tag, in addition to massive publicity and advertising costs.
