As projected, the 10^th anniversary edition of the South- South Music Awards (SSMA), which took place on 2nd of December 2018, at the Randekhi Gold Hotel, Benin City, was a convergence of the numero unos of the entertainment industry and also, one of the greatest night that rewarded all the unique music talents from the south-south zone.

The excitement that began with Jeny Zest the red carpet host was equaled by the sensational job done by Fidel Castro – the event host. From artists’ performances to the entire awards presentation proceedings, not to forget the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Efe Omorogbe, the 2018 edition of this award will go down as one of the most memorable.
