TPlay Ain’t Playing Around. His Music Is Hot
The music from the artiste TPlay is getting commendation across the industry. In a congested sector where millions of songs are queuing up for the listening audience, it’s no mean feat that everyone is talking about TPlay’s songs like Karashika and, Hold Ya – his most recent release. A fusion of Afro-pop, T-Play’s music is melodious.
I have always loved the idea of making music. While I was young, I used to disturb the whole neighborhood with loud music.
One day, my brother advised me to channel my energy into music production. That was how I started the production journey. A few months later, I decided to take it up as a profession, producing as well as recording great songs.”
Real names are Ezeme Hyginus Ikechukwu. He’s a native of Enugu State. The performing artiste and music producer who has released six songs and five music videos is an excellent performer. “In 2016, I released my debut single titled Sere, produced by DJ Coublon, mixed and master by Swaps. Fizzle and Bizzle directed the video. 2017, Siki and Naija Overseas – my second and third single, was produced by PDon Classic.”
2018, he collaborated with Olamide for his 4th studio release titled When Money Dey. “In 2019, I released the smash hit called Karashika. The video to this song directed by Adasa Cookey got everyone talking.
The latest single is called Hold Ya. All the songs showcase my ability to incorporate dancehall rhythm. One step at a time, we are heading for the summit of the music industry.”
