Watch Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Fantasia, And More Perform At Aretha Franklin’s Funeral
It was a great night to pay the last respect to Aretha Franklin, the queen of Soul. Stevie Wonder, Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson, were just a few of the artists who performed during the roughly eight-hour service held inside Detroit’s Greater Grace Temple on Friday (Aug. 31).
Ariana Grande took the stage with a performance of “Natural Woman” that left Bill Clinton nearly salivating at the mouth (social media had a field day with clips of the former president watching the pop star’s every move).
Chaka Khan, Ron Isley, Yolanda Adams, Gladys Knight, Faith Hill, Rev. Marvin Sapp, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Holliday, The Clark Sisters, and Franklin’s son, Edward Franklin, were also on the roster.
Relive some of the phenomenal performances below.
