With a trial date set for August, Will.i.am and his Tech Company will be all over the news. Seldom does Will.i.am make the news for negative reasons but this might push him to the edge a bit. A guy who claims he did work on a voice assistant app for his company claims the company never paid him for his work, so now he’s suing.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Eyas Shanaah claims he did work for i.am+ as a “linguistics consultant” to help “create a voice activated version of the application Omega in Arabic.”

The company’s website says that Omega is an “Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) platform built to be contextual and proactive, providing businesses the tools to develop human-like conversational experiences.”

An announcement at the time said the app would “interact both in English and Arabic.”

Shanaah claims the company owes him $4,040.
