WITH AN ART ILLUSTRATION OF WIZKID, MYSTREETZ MAGAZINE COVER STORY IS ABOUT ARTISTS AND THEIR WORKS
According to Sesan Adeniji, publisher of Mystreetz magazine;
Find me an artist and I will show one of the most instrumental people in life.
To imagine how essential toys and cartoons are to children is to imagine how important those artists that drew all those sketches that were transformed into illustrations for cartoons and sculpture toys are.
As adults, If the visual story line, intrigues and animated special effects that come with most of your favorite cartoons and fantasy movies such as the Lord of The rings, Game of Thrones, Superman, X-Men, Toy Story, Star Trek continue to excite you, it shows how creative and influential the works of those artists that conjures all the characters in their drawing, illustration and animation are.
To imagine how difficult and boring chatting will be on mobile phones without those emoji that help us communicate better and smarter is to imagine life without those artists that created them. If those recent trendier emoji we have on our phones today spice up our conversation, then artists have continued to add value to our daily lives.
All over the world, artists are contributing massively to the GDP of their country. Here in Africa and especially in Nigeria, we also have extremely creative artists whose works are influencing the art and entertainment industry for a while. The works of these sets of guys can also be exported to the rest of the world. If Americans are selling their super heroes like Superman, Batman and X-men, we can also create Naija super heroes for the world to see. This edition is all about showcasing some of the artists who have been working hard for this to be possible. Creating illustrations and drawing conclusions – a story on some of today’s artists using traditional or new media to generate mind-blowing pieces in the art/entertainment circle.
