Angela Igbinoba Adventurous Modeling Journey
The sooner people come to terms with the fact that modeling is a major gateway to so many great profession in the art and entertainment industry, the more they will respect the inventiveness that comes with this occupation. In the last couple of years, I have witness models come up through the ranks to achieve greatness in several fields. With such doggedness as a motivating factor for Angela Ehizogie Igbinoba, she’s climbing up the modeling ladder. Standing at 5’7, with bust:34, waist:28 and hips:38, this lady is relentlessly on her adventurous modeling pursuit.
“Modeling started off when I got admitted into the college. My friends who were into the vocation convinced me to give the career a try and I did despite my earlier skepticism. At first I wasn’t too sure if I would be accepted as a model cause of my height and dark skin colour. My initial impression about modeling was a picture of extremely slim, tall and light skinned girls. But after my friends explained more about the industry and its criteria, I had a go at it starting off with some few photo shoot here and there.
As expected, the journey so far has been tough, adventurous and at the same time fun. The ideas of going for castings, looking good, eat right and workout to stay fit are interesting roller-coaster. Working with designers and photographers is also tasking but enjoyable. You have to improvise in some cases, learn new poses, knowing the poses that suit your body type are big task. For me, there is still so much to learn on the job, with God by my side and hard work, I will come good and become a household name. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m most grateful to God for where I am now.
As a professional model, I have established my goal to not just be famous but to be a leader. One of my most important roles is to coach people to do their best. Make them have the right impression about the modeling industry in Nigeria. By doing this, I’ll help a lot of upcoming models make better decisions, solve problems that are holding them back, learn new skills so they can make progress in their respective careers. I’m very adventurous, my goal in the industry is to work with the best brands all across the world’ – Angela
