By the time she becomes the most sought-after and one of the highest paid video model who also doubles as a dancer in projects in and out of this country, then the world will remember her legend as one that climbed up the ladder with great determination defeating procrastination and despair.

Her name may not ring a bell now but this lady is made for greatness – her story will soon be told far and wide.

“My name is Angela John; I am 23, from Delta State, Ogwashi-Uku to be precise. I am a commercial and video model, a dancer, an aspiring fitness coach and a voice over artist.

Growing up, I had almost everything I wanted; I was comfortable. I knew I had skills/talents/gifts but I neglected them because I was “contented”. The major turning point that changed everything was when my dad fell ill and eventually died; we lost almost everything. It was in the midst of all the chaos I decided to WAKE UP!

In 2015, I reached out to a friend Christina a.k.a Babyblinks already in the entertainment business to put words out for me and she did (I am forever grateful). I started getting jobs as a dancer and I started loving everything ‘ART’.

Being on set as a dancer and watching from behind the scenes how vixens deliver their crafts was intriguing and I believed it was something I could do. I took some time off to actually work on myself both physically and mentally because being a video girl/dancer is way more than people imagine. Exercising gave me self-confidence and it helped put my mind and thoughts
in check.

I also realized that I could help other people achieve their fitness goals too. Hence, the reason I’m aiming to be a fitness coach/trainer. So far, I have worked with few great video directors such as; Stanz Visuals, Adasa Cookey, Clarence Peters, Avalon… I have also modelled for a fitness brand called RBW Active owned by Regina Giwa.

The Angela John is here to stay; I am striving to be exactly where I want to be and more, I want to make a difference, I want my story to be heard because I know there are lots of people out there that’s going through what I have been through. My aspirations are huge and I will fly with them from this country to other continents. The plan is to seat at the table with the kings and queens of this industry” – Angela John
