If you are a lover of entertainment, social life in the beautiful city of Port Harcourt is an impressive experience everyone needs to have. Apart from being privileged to eat some of the freshest kinds of seafood, one could choose to navigate through the beautiful club life at night or sit out all day listening to some of the best OAPs, most especially Cassandra George of the Beat 99.9FM. With one of the most contagious smiles and sweetest voices out from the box, she’s a radio delight.

Popularly called Cassy on radio, a native of Anambra State, she’s like soul food the whole city gathers around every weekend. The host of the Saturday Morning Cruise, and Sunday Morning Show, she’s engaging and entertaining. Cassy is one of the most interesting youngest broadcasters in the country.

I started my media journey working for the radio station at the university I attended – Anambra State University

“I juggled between attending classes and hosting my shows on the radio to keep my dream of becoming a broadcaster alive.”

Cassy’s growth has been phenomenal. She works her socks off. “After I graduated, I still had a keen interest in media, so I continued by working for an advertising firm during my National Youth Service in Kano State. A year after, I moved back to Enugu state to work with Solid FM. I worked there for two years. Then I moved to Port Harcourt to work with the Beat 99.9FM. I host the morning weekend shows. Sometimes, I alternate doing the daily shows. I love broadcasting. It’s fun to be doing what I love. It’s quite fulfilling.”
