DJ T-monie’s “Doperecordonly Clothing Brand Means Business

Dj T-monie of Vibes 97.3FM Benin City is gradually climbing up the ladder as one of the most valued deejays in Nigeria. As he continues to gain accolades for dishing out a perfect blend of music, his reputation is also soaring high for his clothing brand called Doperecordonly. The T-shirts and wristbands from his style brand have earned street cred.

According to Ademola Taiwo with the moniker DJ T-monie, a native of Osun State, owner of Doperecordonly Merchandise, “I have always wanted to do something significant for the industry. Being a Deejay, fashion is an integral part of our hip-hop culture. With that in mind, It wasn’t rocket science for me to venture into that side of the industry. Rapper Ruggedman’s 20th September Clothing and DJ Jimmy Jatt’s Snapback fashion line both inspired me. I have been crafting out ideas since 2008, but it was 2019 I officially started.

We aspire to create a bespoke brand that is also ready-to-wear. We designed the T-shirt and wristband to withstand an energetic lifestyle for youthful craving. For close to a decade, I have worked hard to become one of the best as a Deejay. And such energy is what I am putting into the fashion line. This brand represents every hardworking artiste, dancer, OAP, music enthusiast, and every Deejay. We are doing this for the culture.” He added.
