In the pass couple of years till date, the education system in Nigeria seems to have failed. The idea of concentrating so much time to force students to acquire general knowledge to the detriment of ceasing on any available window of opportunity to help them shape their specialized inborn abilities, is the major reason for the massive unemployment rate.
More often than not, the entire 4-5 years of acquiring the quote unquote popular academic degrees is failing to provide sustainable income. The new generation are now using the creative ideas they picked along the way, like styling, photography, beauty makeup/makeover, fashion and modeling as the pass to successful living. One of lad that is happy with modeling is Osayuwamen Osamudiamen Kenneth; everywhere he goes, he stand tall.
“Standing 6’3 feet tall, I love the modeling industry and the industry shares the same feeling. I’m a student of electrical engineering, University of Benin. I was born into a family of 5, which includes my mum and dad. I recall when I was younger and everyone around me asked if I played basketball? My parent wanted me to use my stature for something I’m passionate about; some how, I fell deeply in love with modeling. I standout when I walk in the crowd (lol).
The journey to modeling was a funny one. Not long after I saw some models showcase some designs on TV, I fell in love with it and started on the expedition to model for big designers and stylists like Thestyleinfidel, Orange Culture and even Emmy Kasbit. Someday, I intend to walk for big fashion shows like the Paris, Milan, and Lagos Fashion Week. I also want to be part of Arise Fashion Week. In the coming days, I will be giving the world a tip of the iceberg at Men’s Fashion Week. I hope to make both the designers and the audience proud. The road hasn’t been easy but there are great things ahead’ – Kenneth.

I graduated from auchi 2015, computer science… The only thing a degree got me was a 3k job teaching old people how to use condoms… No joke…
I eventually took an interest in catering, photography and poetry……. Started out using my mobile phone walking around this southern lands underneath the sun and rain taking random pictures……
Then I got my DSLR camera and life changed from there…..
