The vibrant Nigerian entertainment scene is an appealing prospect for western investors. We love our music, movies but most importantly, we love to party.
With this obvious fact, the need for event MCs in a form of #hypeman or event compère depending on their roles and the nature of the event, is increasingly becoming one of the most demanded in the industry but only a few can truly cut it like Robert Ekpo. Right now, he’s one of the MVP in that field. With him handling an event, entertainment and smooth flow of organization is guaranteed. This event MC who also doubles as an OAP, actor and sometimes satirist, is one of the most sought after.
“I have always been involved with showbiz and entertainment since secondary school. I formed a group with my younger brother Andy “Mystaslymm” Ekpo called 2Unlimited. We performed at different shows in my University days till I graduated. Incidentally, we present the “FunkyFreakyFriday show together every Friday on the Hit95.9fm 7-10pm”. Robert or Roby, depending which of his alter ego strikes a chord with you, the bottom line is that, this lad knows his onions.

“I had previously worked with Paradise 105.5fm before I moved. Alongside my event MC career, I also do stand up comedy. When I’m at work, I just flow with the crowd and bring the house down.
