With the release of Wizkid’s ‘Fewer’ video, which showcased a romantic relationship with the two characters with the name Wizkid who is the artist and Tiwa Savage as the video vixen, the relationship rumors about these two has now reached a boiling point.

Are these two playing a Brandy and Monica ‘The Boy Is Mine’ 1998 media gimmick on us or are they gradually feeding us with the what to come relationship drama? Depending on the side of the court of public opinion you belong to, I’m sure both Wiz and Tiwa are ready for the barrage of fair or unjust opinions heading their way.

While we wait to see how this plays out, I will like to ask the nagging question, why are these two feeding into this scandalous relationship narrative? It’s fair to say that Wizkid does not have much to lose or gain, he’s already the star brand every artist inspire to be despite the scandals that comes with such responsibility. But what’s in it for Tiwa?

There’s always a reason for something. If this is just for the publicity, the question is why will Tiwa need such? With Mavin Records and Roc Nation by her side and the incredible records of achievement she’s gathered over the years, feeding in to such scandal narrative for publicity is just slightly unwise. But sometimes, matters of the heart are hard to understand. The interpretation to that is at your discretion. But that said, he who is without sin should cast the first stone.
