Luther Teaser Reveals Netflix And Theatrical Release Date
Luther recently released video reveals the Netflix and theatrical release dates for the Elba-led film, coming to theaters on February 24 followed by its streaming premiere on March 10. Luther: The Fallen Sun had previously only been set for a March Netflix release window.
Elba led the cast of the BBC crime thriller series as the eponymous Detective Chief Inspector as he grapples with his obsessive behavior for solving the crimes presented to him, including his complicated relationship with murderer Alice Morgan, whom he is able to gather insight on the mind of a psychopath and track down multiple criminals.
Elba scored widespread acclaim for his performance throughout Luther‘s run, including scoring a Golden Globe and four Emmy nominations, leaving many excited for him to reprise the character four years after season 5 premiered with the long-teased film continuation.
