Mid-show while performing in Los Angeles, The Weeknd lost his voice, and he had to cancel the show.

In a message uploaded to his Instagram Stories on Saturday night, The Weeknd apologized to his fans for having to cancel the concert and promised to make it up to them with a return performance.

“My voice went out during the first song and I’ve devastated,” he wrote. “Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”
