Stephney Bass – Digital Marketing Princess Goal-Getter

Stephney Bass is one of the females with digital marketing prowess in the Nigerian music industry. In a new world where it is paramount to use social media and all the online apparatus to increase artists’ engagement and streaming, Stephney has an enviable list of musicians she has helped achieve maximum visibility. With a smile that could melt the heart and work ethics that could move mountains, Stephney knows her way around the music industry corridors, as well as around the social media. She’s the digital marketing princess go-getter.

Christened Stephney Bassey, a native of Akwa Ibom State, a commercial model that made an appearance on “Deaf by Eva Allordiah”. Over the years, she has put in the work that has now earned her Chief Executive Officer of Bass Digital Media. According to her, “My journey into the music scene started in 2015 as a social media marketer/ PR for NaijaReview that managed Niniola. In 2019, I was opportune to work for the leading music company Universal Music Group (Nigeria). Right now, I manage Talent Marketing for Triller, overseeing the African Region.

She spent three years working with Universal Music Group. During that period, she worked on both international and local artists’ projects. The list includes “Swift Folklore” by Taylor Swift, “Celia” by Tiwa Savage, “King Of Wolves” by Alpha P, “Old Romance” by Tekno, “Coming 2 America” (Rhythms of Zamunda – an Original Soundtrack), “Sound System In Lagos” by Major Lazer. After she left UMG, “I decided to take on a new challenge with Triller Africa, where I handle Influencer marketing. So far, I have been able to run successful campaigns for Olakira, Iceberg, and Pheelz to name a few.” – she concluded.
